This challenge of teacher training is worth it, and we’re right there with you every step of the way!
We pride ourselves on the support our trainees receive on the programme – which starts even before your very first day in school. You’ll come together as new trainees for Summer School over two weeks in August to learn about the programme, educational theory and practice so that you feel confident in your role when you enter the classroom in September.
You’ll be fully supported by your tutor, in-school coach, fellow trainees and weekly training sessions throughout your training year to ensure you have the tools you need to feel confident and prepared as you develop into a fantastic teacher.

We have 38 bright and brilliant schools in our network across four key locations: Birmingham, London, Hastings and Portsmouth. Many of our schools are in areas facing social and economic challenges or historic academic underachievement, so with the support of Ark’s vast and vibrant network, you can be sure you’re making a difference from your very first day of training.
